About Marta

Marta Donayre is an excentric with many interests. She identifies as a photographer, writer, painter, boundary pusher, troublemaker, but most importantly, she’s the Empress of the Entire Effing Universe! Or so she likes to think of herself.

Marta lived in Ecuador, Brazil, short stints in Peru and Panamá, and now the United States. In addition, she studied electronic engineering, photography, public relations and has a master in spirituality. She draws from these many life and educational experiences to bring a unique perspective to all she does.

Marta lives in Silicon Valley, and ponders about everything around her. This is reflected on the topics she chooses for writing and photography. Her favorite topic is social justice, and this is reflected mostly on her photography and writing.
